The Village at The Women and Children’s Campus

A campaign to triple the capacity of services to women, and women with their children, in recovery.

Project Summary

To address the need for more services, we are launching a $17 million capital campaign for the construction of The Village. Once completed, The Village will provide women and children a safe, stable, and nurturing living environment while they continue to seek permanent and long-term housing solutions. During their time at The Village, women will gain parenting skills, job coaching, and assistance with meeting their life goals. Upon graduation from our program, we want all women to feel ready to start their next chapter of life.

WestCare Nevada currently operates the Women & Children’s Campus, the only residential treatment facility for women, and women with their children, that have substance use and/or co-occurring disorders in Nevada. Our current campus only has 30 transitional living beds. Due to the need, lengths of stay are currently 90 days. With more transitional services, we can extend the lengths of stays, as needed, while taking in more women and women with children in our program.
